Demonstration clusters

INNO4GRID demonstrates its technologies in four complementary pilot clusters representing diverse electricity systems, regulatory environments and operational challenges.

These demonstration activities validate the project’s solutions under real operating conditions while ensuring scalability and replicability across Europe.

Together, these demonstration clusters showcase the adaptability of the INNO4GRID Workbench across different grid configurations, regulatory frameworks and renewable penetration levels.

Innovative WAMPAC system in Norway

The Norwegian demonstration focuses on advanced monitoring, renewable integration and flexibility management in a highly renewable electricity system. The pilot evaluates intelligent operational tools capable of improving situational awareness and supporting secure system operation.

Voltage regulation technologies in Hungary

The Hungarian pilot demonstrates innovative TSO–DSO coordination mechanisms, Dynamic Security Assessment and advanced forecasting solutions for improving network reliability and renewable energy integration.

Flexibility valorization and regional coordination for grid security in Western Balkans

The Western Balkans demonstration addresses cross-border operational coordination, voltage stability and regional situational awareness. The pilot builds upon lessons learned from recent regional power system disturbances to improve resilience across interconnected transmission networks.

DER flexibility management and optimal system operation in Turkey

The Turkish demonstration validates forecasting platforms, flexibility management systems and advanced control mechanisms supporting the integration of increasing shares of renewable generation into the electricity network.
